Acceptance of Terms
By using alexkadyrov.com and any of its tools, calculators, or content ("Services"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
Services Covered by These Terms
These Terms govern your use of alexkadyrov.com and any services offered through it. The site provides two distinct categories of services:
(a) Informational Content
Publicly accessible pages, blog posts, calculators, estimators, and planning resources made available on the site. These are informational and educational only. Figures and estimates are approximations; no guarantee is made as to accuracy or completeness. Nothing on these pages constitutes financial, legal, tax, or professional advice.
(b) Professional Services
Paid engagements for software engineering, AI development, MVP development, and fractional technical leadership (each a "Service"), as described on the /services pages. Professional Services are provided under a separate Statement of Work ("SOW") signed by both parties. Where these Terms conflict with a signed SOW, the SOW controls.
No Guarantees or Warranties
We provide all information and tools "as is" without any warranties or guarantees of any kind. Specifically:
- All estimates, calculations, and figures are approximations only
- Actual costs, fees, and requirements may vary significantly
- Information may become outdated or inaccurate
- We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all decisions based on information from our Services. You must:
- Verify all information with official sources
- Conduct your own research and due diligence
- Consult qualified professionals for important decisions
- Understand that our tools provide estimates, not advice
Not Financial or Legal Advice
Our Services do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or professional advice. Our budget calculators and cost estimators are educational tools only. For financial planning, legal matters, or professional advice, consult qualified professionals.
Government Non-Affiliation
We are not affiliated with any government entity, department, or agency. This includes but is not limited to:
- UAE federal government or any emirate government
- Dubai Municipality or any Dubai government entity
- DEWA, Dubai Land Department, or other official agencies
- Any immigration, visa, or regulatory authority
Always verify requirements and procedures with official government sources.
User Conduct
When using our Services, you agree to:
- Use Services only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to harm, hack, or disrupt our systems
- Not misrepresent information or impersonate others
- Respect intellectual property rights
Contracting & Invoicing
Professional Services are contracted and invoiced through NathanHR Freelance Central, the UAE-licensed freelance platform under which I operate. Each engagement is backed by a signed SOW. Invoices are issued in USD or AED by agreement, payable by bank transfer. You receive a UAE tax invoice for each payment. VAT is currently not applicable; if it becomes applicable under UAE tax rules, it will be itemised separately on invoices. Cash and cryptocurrency payments are not accepted for services rendered to UAE-based clients.
Intellectual Property
Site Content
All content, design, and functionality of the site and its informational tools are owned by Alex Kadyrov or licensed to him. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Professional Services
Unless the applicable SOW states otherwise:
- All deliverables created as part of a Professional Services engagement transfer to the client upon final payment for that engagement.
- Prior to final payment, all deliverables remain my intellectual property and may not be used, copied, or deployed by the client.
- I retain the right to use general skills, knowledge, tools, libraries, and frameworks developed in the course of any engagement for future work, including pre-existing and third-party open-source components used in the deliverables.
- I may reference the engagement in my portfolio at a high level (company name, type of work, non-confidential outcomes) unless the SOW specifies otherwise.
Confidentiality
During and after any Professional Services engagement, each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for purposes of performing the engagement. This obligation survives termination for a period of three (3) years. It does not apply to information that is publicly available, already known, or independently developed without reference to the confidential information.
Termination of Professional Services
Fixed-price projects
Either party may terminate an engagement for material breach with fourteen (14) days' written notice. On termination, the client pays for work completed up to the termination date, at a pro-rated value of the most recent milestone.
Monthly retainers (e.g. Fractional CTO)
Either party may end the retainer with thirty (30) days' written notice after the initial committed term (typically 3 months). Fees paid in advance for the notice period are non-refundable.
Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Limitation of Liability
(a) Informational Content
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alex Kadyrov and alexkadyrov.com are not liable for any damages, including financial losses, business interruption, or data loss, arising from reliance on informational content, calculators, or estimators published on the site. Use them at your own risk and verify with qualified professionals.
(b) Professional Services
Liability for Professional Services is governed by the applicable SOW. In the absence of a conflicting provision, total aggregate liability for any Service is limited to the fees actually paid for that Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. I am not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages. Nothing in this clause limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by UAE law.
Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts.
